Using this option I can't send a print as the Max says no printer is connected. Add the printer manually through the printer selection box and manually chose the software for the F4100 series. It adds it happily and displays the picture of the printer as more of a laser printer than a deskjet, it also sends a test page to the printer, which then shows up on the print queue but doesn't actually print (although the as far as the NAS is concerned the pront has completed). The printer shows up in my printer add list as an AirPrint printer (which is odd as this is a very old printer - way before AirPrint was available). I am presented with two options when adding a printer as follows : 1. All I have been trying for a while now to get my HP F4180 to print across the network (via my QNAP NAS TS-219) and have been entirely unsuccessful.
